Egyptian Journal of Histology is an Open Access peer-reviewed journal specializing in all areas of histology, cytology, and related subjects. Established and founded by Egyptian Society of Histology and Cytology, and co-publishing with the Egyptian Knowledge Bank (EKB) starting from 2021. With this journal, the Egyptian Society of Histology and Cytology hopes to promote excellence in the field of Histology through the dissemination of exceptional and outstanding research produced by regional and international researchers and scientific practitioners.

Egyptian Journal of Histology will be published quarterly, the journal comprising original research articles, review articles.

The articles are openly available in PDF, XML formats, metadata are semantically enriched HTML for a better reading experience. Thus, the journal’s content is easy to navigate to make as easy to discover, access, reuse and cite as possible.
