Abstract
Background: The life of an organism is a wide range of genetically programmed continuous rearrangements in response to the various factors in the external and internal environment. Adaptive responses have been formed as a result of evolution and they are realized in ontogeny as genetically programmed actions. They are diverse and usually subdivided into relatively quick (fractions of a second) and slow ones (days, months, years). Kidneys have a homeostatic role in the body and they are extremely sensitive to dietary changes.
The aim: To create a model of protein load in different periods in order to decipher the mechanisms of the homeostatic renal functions.
Materials and Methods: The microscopic structure of the nephrons was studied under experimental protein loading. The white laboratory rats were used for creating the model of the protein load changing due to injection of the protein mixture in an intraabdominal way. The biopsy samples from the kidney after protein load were histologically prepared and studied by the digital microscope "MICROMED 2". The samples were studied at the 1-st, 3-d, 7-th, 15-th, and 30-th experimental day.
Results: The experimental created high-level protein level showed the change in the glomerular filtration rate. The morphological studies declared that homeostatic reserve capacities in the kidney have been realized by an increase in the proportion of vascular glomeruli with a large number of functioning blood capillaries.
Conclusions: A kidney is extremely sensitive to quantitative and qualitative changes in the protein rate. The irrational nutrition changes to structural shifts in the function of absorption systems. This can cause severe irreversible changes and lead to pathological process development.
